LGBTQI+, the Community That Need Our Help

Over the past few days, i have been trying so hard to suppress my thought on this sensitive topic. As a citizen of Ghana, I wish to share my thought on this time bound sensitive matter. So help me God.

To begin with, lets ask who these LGBTQI+ people are. LGBTQI+ is an extremist sexual oriented community of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgenders, Queer, Intersex and others Unknown. This whole sexual orientation campaign started with LG, moved to include BT and now QI+. The plus (+) sign is a symbol used to include other forms of orientation or classification.

Lesbians (females) and Gays (males) are homosexuals who are sexually attracted to their own sex while Bisexuals are sexually attracted to both sex ( i e more than one gender or sex). Transgender refer to people whose gender identity differs from the gender they were thought to be at birth. For example, if a child was born a female (ie having female features at birth ) but later in life, she completely develop male features which makes her a man on the “outside, such person is referred to as transgender man. This could happen in both genders. Queer is a derogatory term (though accepted by them) that includes lesbians, gay, bisexuals, transpeople, intersex, the radical sex communities, and many other sexually transgressive (underworld) explorers. This term is sometimes used as a sexual orientation label instead of bisexual as a way of acknowledging that there are more than two genders to be attracted to, or as a way of stating a non heterosexual orientation without having to state who they are attracted to. Intersex refers to someone whose sex a doctor has a difficult time categorizing as either male or female. It could also be a person whose combination of chromosomes, gonads, hormones, internal sex organs and/or genitals differs from one of the two expected pattern of male or female.

How did we get here? During the pre history era, same sex was frowned upon with the culprits punished punitively. This notwithstanding, proofed that there existed this disgusting sexual orientation. In the 60s and 70s, America experienced a number of uprisings emanating from these aliens quest to legitimize their activities. Their actions were quashed as their condition was classified under mental illness arising from chromosomal or hormonal abnormalities or peer inducement.

In recent years, these underworld beings became wealthy, powerful and began influencing research to favour them, thereby changing the narratives, twisting the facts and now landing us where we are; LGBTQI as a way of life. They are so powerful that almost all European countries are bowing to their pressure with their next stop being Africa. Currently, most Western and European countries are threatening to cut off donor support to countries that refuse to legalise the practice.
Biblically, all the scriptures captured the angry destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by God due to the activities of Gays. Since then, society has maintained a zero tolerance to the ungodly practice in order not to Invoke wrath of God. The sexual norm has always been man and a woman, nothing more, nothing less. Any other orientation is described as alien and ungodly.

Currently, its difficult to know the total population of homosexuals in Ghana or across the globe. One thing that is certain is homosexuals exist amongst us.

What does the LGBTQI+ community want? They want the legalisation of their activities and state protection which is almost impossible in Ghana.

What then is the way forward in all this? I have always maintain that Legalising the alien and barbaric sex practice is a big NO but protecting those social misfits and allowing the law to take it course is the way. We must not and we cannot legalise LGBTQI+. Our stakeholders must not fail the curent and future generation but our state has a duty to protect the life of every Ghanaian.

Ghana must deal desicively on this subject. The LGBTQI+ community is gradually sweeping the globe and Ghana need to implement socio-moral policies that will mitigate this cancerous demonic practice. We ought to have a human face to this LGBTQI+ group and treat them like humans who have deviated from the societal norms.

Social misfits has a place in our country Ghana. Just like mental handicap persons, armed robbers, drunkards, rapists, murderers, thieves, suicide committers and other social deviants are been dealt with by the state, homosexuals should be treated in accordance with the laws of the law. No one has the right to take the law into his/her hands and violate the rights of others just because you beleive the person deviated from the heterosexual life.
The state has always metted out punishment or correctional measures or both to all those who are found to be social misfits and also offer rehabilitation. There should be a legislation that will permit government to take LGBTQI+ patients into correctional centres where some may need surgery among others to rehabilitate. The mental disoder of LGBTQI+ people is curable, though more could still be done.

Let me emphasize that the hormones of LGBTQI+ people are scientifically proven to be chromosomal disorders among other abnormal genetic traits. Science also prove that there is available correctional measures. Taking trans into consideration, a transgender woman can be reverted to his original male gender and the vice versa. A devoted state policy can be passed to correct these abnormalies, with the state bearing the cost. Its doable, its for our own good. Others can be taken through psychological counselling and further medical examination to ascertain their level of sexual alienation and correction found to them. This should be a top state priority, a national security issue. As such, all practice of these groups should be criminalised.

I wish Ghana the very best in the fight against these powerful underworld sexual oriented group. I also wish citizens could appreciate the existence of these group even in the remotest of our communities and the need to offer a human face in tackling it. We must not fail like Lots(Lut. A.S)and his people did.
